And so it begins.
Summer is winding down and, for many of us, that means the start of the fall fundraising season – conjuring up nerves, emotions and challenges when raising capital, especially for female founders. Nevertheless we persist. And we’re excited and motivated to see other women pave the way – including our very own Tomboy X and Integris, who raised impressively BIG rounds recently. Meanwhile, back at FFA HQ, this week we kicked off Ready Set Raise, our first ever accelerator for female founded companies. We selected eight companies from all across the country…but we’re keeping their identities secret just a little longer! Stay tuned for the highly anticipated announcement by following our social channels on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. There’s one thing we can tell you about the Ready Set Raise Class of 2018 – they are an inspiring, world-changing group of rock stars at the start of an epic journey. And we want to invite you to celebrate them – and all female founders – at our Ready Set Raise closing party and demo night (*see below) on September 27th at the Pacific Science Center.
