What inspired you to start your company?

We’re democratizing access to local manufacturing and helping the next generation of e-commerce build unique, sustainable, and differentiated products, locally.

Who are your cofounders, and what makes you a great team?

We’re a team of ex-Amazonians passionate about the future of manufacturing and DTC brands.

How is Uplio making a difference?

We are on a mission to strengthen our country’s position in manufacturing and reclaim our leadership in the manufacturing sector globally. We do that by incorporating technology through supply chain processes.

What are some of the challenges you have faced?

Our current challenge is funding the business so we can build and move faster.

What is your biggest win? 

Unlocking insights by interviewing hundreds of local manufacturers and businesses.

Jeff Bezos

What do you wish you had known before starting your company?

Raise capital as soon as you build conviction. Also, how difficult the journey is.

What is your CEO superpower?

Grit and Deliver Results despite obstacles.

What else do you want people to know?

I know that the journey to entrepreneurship is hard. I also know often times it can be a bit harder for female or minority founders. I am looking forward to being part of the change to create a more inclusive and diverse community of entrepreneurs that is merit/hustle-based more than anything.
